The Committee for Hispanic Children &\; Families (CHCF) is excited to announce its Annual 2024 Summer Block Party on August 17 \;from 12:00 pm to 4:00 pm on Morris Avenue in the Bronx. This year\, the event is co-sponsored with New York City Council Member Pierina Ana Sanchez\, who will speak at the event. \;The block party will also include: \;
\nLocal elected officials and leaders: Attendees will have a chance to mingle with and hear from New York City Council Member Pierina Ana Sanchez\, as well as State Assembly Member Yudelka Tapia\, and CHCF President &\; CEO Ramon Peguero\, who was recently named to the Bronx Power 100 List by City &\; State. \;
\nSocial Service Organizations: Various local organizations will be present to provide information about their services and how they support the community\, including organizations like Catholic Charities Community Services and Anthem BlueCross BlueShield. \;
\nBouncy Castle\, face-painting\, and a live DJ: The block party will be a fun\, safe\, and supervised environment for the whole family. \;
\nFree BBQ and other food: Delicious barbecue provided\, popcorn\, cotton candy\, and other carnival-style treats. \;
