DESCRIPTION:The New York City Department of Small Business Services will be hosting a certification workshop for Construction businesses Only.\n\nTo be eligible for LBE Certification\, a business must be:\n\n A for-profit business (i.e. Sole Proprietorship\, General Partnership\, Limited Partnership\, Limited Liability Partnership\, Limited Liability Company or Corporation.\n\nNote: Nonprofit organizations are not eligible for LBE certification.\n\n Authorized to do business in New York State.\n\n Performing at least 25% of its work performed on construction projects located in economic development areas in New York City\, or employ a workforce of which at least 25% are economically disadvantaged persons.\n\n Received gross receipts in the last three or fewer tax years averaging $2 million or less on an annual basis.
