The Community Relations Council (CRC) plays a crucial role in bridging Job Corps Centers with their local communities. Comprising diverse members, from civic leaders to community employees, the council collectively aims to highlight Job Corps' significance within the community. By actively engaging, the CRC influences the future workforce, enhancing the career pathways and prospects of Job Corps students. Together, they foster a symbiotic relationship that benefits both the students and the broader community.
COMMUNITY RELATIONS COUNCILS HELP WITH:
➢ Creating mutually beneficial relationships with local employers, political officials, and other important stakeholders to boost community engagement with Job Corps.
➢ Providing positive interactions between the center, its students, and the surrounding community.
➢ Showcase student and center successes.
➢ Generating opportunities to provide students, instructors, learning team and employees with support in any of the below areas:

✓ Interview Coaching
✓ Workplace Etiquette Coaching
✓ GED, Reading, Math, and other Tutoring needs
✓ Business Clothing Donations
✓ Uniform Donations
