MORE: The Lehman Chamber Players will open the Lehman College Music Program’s 2025–2026 performance season with an engaging recital featuring music by Antonín Dvorák, Elliott Carter, and Franz Schubert. The concert will take place on Saturday, October 11 at 2:00 p.m. at Lehman College and is free and open to the public.
The program features Schubert’s Trio in B-flat Major, a masterwork known for its lyrical elegance and emotional depth. Also included are Dvorák’s Silent Woods and Rondo for cello and piano, showcasing the composer’s rich melodic style, as well as Elliott Carter’s Tre Duetti for Violin and Cello, a 20th-century gem that highlights rhythmic interplay and vibrant textures.
