Join the Bronx Chamber of Commerce for the second session of our Business Ready: Small Business Policy, Finance & Growth Series for a timely conversation on proposed changes to how New York City government works—and what they could mean for small businesses.
Following the creation of the Commission on Government Efficiency (COGE), the Commission has advanced five proposed amendments to the City Charter that will go before New York City voters this November.
This session will provide small business owners and community stakeholders with an accessible overview of the proposals, including potential changes aimed at streamlining permitting, modernizing City contracting and procurement, and strengthening New York City’s long-term fiscal resilience.
Attendees will learn what is being proposed, what will appear on the ballot, and how these structural changes could affect the way businesses interact with City government.
