The Role in a Nutshell

We are looking for a high-level hospitality professional to take ownership of our dining room. Because we are a low-volume, high-touch establishment, you will often "run the show" independently. This allows for maximum tip earning potential, as you will manage the floor solo during standard shifts. However, as the Lead, you are the cornerstone of our growth—responsible for training and leading a supplemental team during our high-volume events and busy seasons.

Key Responsibilities

1. The Solo Specialist (The "One-Man Show")

• End-to-End Service: Manage the guest experience from the initial greeting (Host) to the final check (Server) and table reset (Busser).
• Operational Ownership: Handle opening and closing duties, including cash handling, lights/music, and basic side-work without direct supervision.
• Guest Relations: Build a base of regulars by providing personalized, attentive service that only a solo lead can offer.

2. The Lead & Mentor (The "Team Builder")

• Onboarding: Train new FOH staff on our specific service standards, menu knowledge, and POS systems.
• Shift Command: On busier nights, act as the Floor Lead, delegating tasks to junior servers and ensuring the kitchen and floor remain in sync.
• Standard Bearer: Maintain high cleanliness and service standards even when the "show" is small, ensuring we are always "guest-ready."
