The Kingsbridge Heights Community Center (KHCC) is seeking new board members. KHCC's mission is to empower individuals from "cradle to career" to achieve their potential and build pathways to purpose and prosperity. The Board of Directors is responsible for determining the organization's mission and direction, ensuring financial oversight, fundraising, monitoring operations, selecting and evaluating the CEO, and enhancing KHCC's public image.

- Oversight, Governance, and Stewardship: Board members are expected to understand and support KHCC's mission, review financial statements, attend 5 board meetings and one retreat annually, provide in-kind support through committee participation or volunteering, engage in strategic planning, and actively participate in at least one board committee. They must also record monthly in-kind contributions and comply with annual training.
- Fundraising and Development: Board members are required to make a personally significant annual financial contribution that meets or exceeds KHCC's give/get. They are also expected to engage with individuals, corporations, and organizations for fundraising, consider underwriting programs or staff appreciation events, promote and attend fundraising events (inviting 3-5 prospective donors to each), recruit new board members, leverage auction items and promote sponsorships/ticket sales, and represent KHCC's successes.
