Rethink Food is a nonprofit addressing food insecurity and waste by transforming surplus food into nutritious meals for underserved communities. Partnering with MWBEs, restaurants, and local organizations, Rethink Food rescues excess food, distributes over 25,000 meals weekly across New York City, and fosters economic opportunities through programs like the Sustainable Community Kitchen. Since 2017, Rethink Food has delivered over 8 million meals, diverted over 2 million pounds of food waste, and championed equity and sustainability, making a significant impact in the Bronx and beyond.
