Sol Cacao is a family-owned, bean to bar chocolate company founded in the South Bronx by brothers Dominic, Nicholas, and Daniel Maloney. We produce premium single origin dark chocolate using cacao sourced from small family farms in Madagascar, Colombia, Ecuador, and Peru, paying premium prices that help farmers preserve their crops and earn sustainable incomes. Our mission is to establish the Bronx as a world-class chocolate destination while adding to the borough’s rich history of cultural, creative, and entrepreneurial contributions.
