About Us

The Southern Boulevard Business Improvement District promotes the growth, vitality, and visibility of the premier commercial corridor in the Hunts Point and Longwood communities of the Bronx. Established in 2008, the BID serves businesses and property owners along Southern Boulevard between 163rd Street and 167th Street. Through direct outreach and diverse programming, SoBo BID fosters local economic growth and community engagement.

The BID is a 501(c)(3) public-private partnership governed by a Board of Directors. Its stakeholders include property owners, businesses, restaurants, retailers, cultural and non-profit institutions, public officials, and residents.
